double post, sorry..

Apologies for what I feel may be a daft (obvious!) post, but I cant for the life of me remember the name of a magazine published nowadays mostly for 1st Ed or similar.
I was sure it was to do with grodog or something but I just cant remember its name! I have the KSpell 1-6 mags but I dont think its that..? Any help please chaps?

Couldnt they at least get someone with a scottish accent for the part?  Christopher Lambert was French but he managed to pull it off.  This is going to be bad on an epic scale not seen since Kevin Costner did Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

This is going to make Highlander: The Quickening look like Oscar winning material.

Went to see the Spiderman movie.  It was good but not great.  It's worth seeing, but that's it.  Avengers was partly to blame for the disappointment as that was so good.  And stay after the first series of credits for an additional and interesting clip.

Finally, happy birthday to our country and me!

Yep, same here. I thought the guy doing Peter Parker was better than Tobey Maguire...he really WAS Peter Parker, definitely had the look. Gwen Stacy as his girlfriend was more in tune with the comics, as was the introduction of Captain Stacy. Flash Thompson seemed to have more screentime and be into the film a bit more than the original trilogy (although he and Peter become buds much too quickly).  Hated there was no J Jonah Jameson, Betty Brant or Joe Robertson (although the Daily Bugle makes an appearance), no photog job for Peter  at the paper (although he does take pictures), and no really funny snappy patter (a Spiderman trademark)...for the most part the entire movie was deathly serious.  The choice of The Lizard as his foe turned out to be a good one, while not as iconic as the Green Goblin, Doc Ock or The Sandman, he was suitably creepy and powerful enough to kick some ass. Interesting choice to focus more on the mystery of what happened to Peter's parents, which is pretty much glossed over both in the original comics and the first trilogy, and would seem to be a plot point in future sequels. I was disappointed the line "With great power, comes great responsibility" wasn't uttered in the film, as it's pretty much the entire philosophy behind why Peter does what he does as Spiderman.  And, if you bring kids, be aware that he first half hour is very slow and likely to get them squirming in their chair....my 8 year old grandson kept whispering to me "Papa, when does the spider bite him?".

But yes, it is only a good flick, not great.  Still worth seeing on the big screen.

Aw, cmon....what's not to like about shows like Deadliest Catch, Dirty Jobs, American Chopper and Auction Kings?     I quit watching Discovery Channel years ago along with the Learning Channel.  I just lost interest in most of the stuff they were showing.  The History Channel still has some quality entertainment every so often though.  I watched a few episodes of WWII in HD the other day and really enjoyed it.  Life After People was intriguing as well.  I could do without shows like American Pickers, Pawn Stars, Top Gear and Ice Road Truckers though.  I did watch parts of the first season of Ice Road Truckers and it was interesting but they are on season six for chrissakes.  Same ol' shit over and over again.  

And yet they still havent sunk to the level that the SciFi....erm excuse me....SyFy channel has.  Half the shows are reality based garbage like Hollywood Treasure, Ghost Hunters and Marcel's Quantum Kitchen.  And then there is all the professional wrestling.  What the hell?!?     And you couldnt pay me to watch one of their made-for-tv movies such as Arachnoquake, Pirhanaconda, or MegaPython vs. Gatoroid.  Once they cancelled Stargate: Universe I gave up on that turdnugget of a channel for good.
