The Acaeum effect strikes again? Over $150 now...

Thumbs up for the seller providing 24 pictures but should've been 25, perhaps?
=> "There are a few light moisture stains on the bottom of the box and one darker stain that wraps from the box edge to the bottom". (Just visible in the second photo).

4ths of any flavor ain't easy, either: EGG's 25,000 copies quote is almost certainly dubious/misplaced. Y'know it's a different ball game for both of those vs. the OCEs deliberately being sold (and shelved) as a "collector's edition"; even if more people actually bought those to play than the earlier releases!

Knowing where the other copy is (nice inscription, thank you, Tim) and that there are a few small cover blemishes it's safe to presume that's a stock image. On a $995 listing.

um, well given that I have Tim's personal copy of a 1st Pr Eldritch Wizardry (as well as many other items of his) with notarized Certificates of Authenticity I'm wondering exactly what is going on here.....

Cheers, Bill! Well, that makes three "first box" copies out of two, I guess! There ain't that many other items I can think of with a 150% survival rate, presuming Kynan's comment is accurate.

(Having had a quick check around, I've a sneaking suspicion that the original sale offers/discussions are on the dead-PSU external drive, but will make a note to keep an eye out for those...).

Ditto on the CoA, but not quite as many other items of Tim's; albeit he said I did have first dibs if a few other scraps of paper turned up. *jk*

No complaints here, regardless, and a pleasure to do business with.

This is a good question, and I can't give a definite answer, but there were about 20 expansion sets, plus a starter set of five minis. You can buy complete sets of miniatures for about $300.00 to $350.00, although some are more and some are less, so I would vote possibly based on that information.

It's been a few years since I sold off my own collection (back when there were only about 6 expansions) for well over two thousand, so my knowledge isn't current, but I suspect this might not be too far off the mark. Complete sets of each of the early expansions seem to still be going in the $300 - $400 range, so if there are twenty or so expansions at this point, I would estimate conservatively:

Harbinger + first four expansions @ $300 apiece = $1,500

expansions 6 - 10 @ $200 apiece = $1000

expansions 11- 15 @ $200 apiece = $1000

expansions 16 - 20 @ $150 apiece = $750

for a total of $4,250

Doesn't do anything for me, but these aren't that common, certainly in nice shape. And I don't recall a lot of them.

Of course, depending where the auction ends...

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games
