Maybe it went low due to missing original maps? Not sure if that would drop the price so low.

Being the seller, I think the price was very low.
They are just as playable as the sets that have the original maps.
Which was my intent from the get go.
Several years ago, I purchased a bulk lot of these incomplete box sets, they had all original books, and original though somewhat dinged up boxes, and all of them were missing the original maps.
The person I purchased these from had listed one of them on e-Bay (three times) and got no bids and was at the end of her patience and she was considering tossing them in the garbage, or listing the adventures one at a time and tossing the rest.
I had already purchased three SWed sets from her and a couple of opened complete sets as well, along with a bunch of other DCC items.
We negotiated a deal and I bought her remaining copies of those box sets of DCC 35 with no maps.
The ONLY reason I purchased them is that I got them in bulk at a decent discount and I have easy access to a large scale color scanner/plotter.

So, I scanned the original maps from an opened complete set at high resolution and saved them as TIFF files (about 110 megs each).
Just before I list one of these sets, I print full size color copies on good paper and list them with low starting bids and let the market decide what they are worth.
My plan was to list the worst condition box sets first, eventually getting to the best boxes last.
The first one I listed sold for a ridiculously low price (something like $21...) and not long after that, another set sold for over $65.

The cost of the color ink and decent paper for making the prints of those four HUGE maps makes it so that I am not making any money from these.
For those who doubt me, take a copy of any single sided large RPG multiple color game map to a kinkos (or any other printer of that sort) and ask them how much it would cost to make a full sized color copy of just the one map on the cheapest paper they have.

PS: I also obtained several empty DCC 35 Boxes and a few copies of the module from her as well (along with two SWed sets) and I also purchased all of her remaining stock of DCC 51 box sets (All in SW).
Doug now has all the remaining DCC 51 Box Sets from that purchase in his warehouse.

This picture was taken a short time ago, when I still had five of the opened sets left.
I am down to just three of those sets and I will keep one (for a playing copy)  so the end is very close now.  
The lower shelf shows the SWed copies of which I still have all of them.


Earlier when I still had quite a few of them left.
