This one is interesting to me because a few years ago, this would have been an attractive price.  Today, it's probably 30-40% too high.  And I'm not sure why that severe of a change happened.  These haven't been reprinted; I don't recall if there are scans out there (I have originals so I don't care).

There is that rare Barry Manilow album though.  And its even shrinkwrapped!  I didnt think an unopened one actually existed since everyone pulled off the wrap immediately after getting it home to listen to it.  It's still there so I guess Smarmy already has it?  :P

That is still a good price for those, they look to be in great condition.

There is a printing of Slaves to Darkness that has a dust jacket (Bill has one  :) )

There are a few printings of each, I have two of each plus first printings authors copies  :)

Even as a complete set in shrink, this isn't going to happen:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

I'd say more like $100-125, maybe a bit more.

Well, at least it didn't happen at the original $400.  But this is still nuts.  These are not hard to find, even in shrink.

That's a pity. I had this on my watch list for months, but didn't notice the price drop. The catalog is one of the few things I still need for my Holmes collection.

There isn't even an issue number 1 in the list...

Best regards,

It is a matter of wording. They are saying edition and volume rather than issue number. The mention of 'premier' refers to issues from the first or premier volume. A deceptive way to catch attention and make you look. A good way to make money if you are a huckster charging an entrance fee, but very disappointing to customers when the come looking for live nude girls or a Dragon #1 and find only some less attractive ancient magazines.

Even if there was an issue number 1 in that group, it would still be way too high...
