It's set at 10 minutes.  The default is an hour... which used to be fine, until I installed the chat module.    The chat is tied to the inactive timer (session length), so if I bump it back up to an hour, the chat will show people in the chatroom *long* after they're gone.

I figured 10 minutes was still a safe bet, in most cases.

I'm finding the 10 minute logoff too short, and it seems like others are as well.    I think resetting it to 15 or 20 minutes might make sense.

Thanks. I had that happen to me on several occasions, then just got into the habit of copying all the text before I hit 'submit' so that I could re-paste it if I needed to log back in.

New one does too -- at the bottom of the index page, "Who is Online".  Click it, and it will show you where on the forum they are.

Help! I have accidentally set my text to BIG. Not sure how this happened?  can anyone help. I am clearly a klutz...  It is OK when writing a response here, but then appears several point sizes larger on screen.

Firefox. that could well be, although it is not affecting other forums I frequent (all of which are much less important and venerable than the Acaeum of course).
