I think Blackmoor will be very dissappointed when he gets to my house and sees the giant wind generator in my backyard.

Let's take a collection from the Acaeum members and get badmike the psychiatric help he so needs.  Irrashional fear of giant shrews is an ugly and dibilitating disorder.

Mike's already had one very traumatic encounter.  One more will push him over the edge.  Fear the shrew, fear the rat.

I've just read through this thread. Thanks for sharing everyone.

Egad. I can actually go to a Gencon next year. Sudden overseas assignments notwithstanding I'll be there!

Yeesh...glad I dont live near that place.  But I have noticed a larger quantity of spiders around my neck of the woods this summer over the last one (possibly due to the higher levels of moisture).  I have seen several fairly large spiders spinning web lines from the trees in my backyard to the fence posts or the ground and they are very thick, strong webs.  I am terrified that I am going to be walking in the backyard at night and one of the bastards is going to drop on my head.

Are you kidding?  I have four of the most prolific killing machines on the planet living in my house.  Any shrew...giant or otherwise would be nothing more than a snack for my four cats.

Just ask Mike...one of them tried to slit his throat last year.  Now he wont go near that one.  :P

I'm seeing a trend here - appearently Mike is not good with animals.  I have 5 cats and dog.  Chances are that if Mike ever visited my house he would be killed.

Interesting, four of the most prolific killing machines? I thought polygamy was illegal.
Oh, cats. I see.

Driven to madness by the untamed mentioning of shrews, Badmike abandons his trip to Half-Price Books and decides to stop traffic instead:
