I'm pretty sure these were from 2006. The last gencon auction I made.

I'm sure someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Acaeum pins would be terrific.

if it wasn't obvious from the posts above, i was conflating two different events: Frank did have buttons made up for Acaeum members in 2006 AND then Frank ran his Empyrea game in 2008. Thanks again Frank!

Liverpuncher wrote in Acaeum pins?:So would the preference be "Acaeum" or just the A in the word? Or something else?  I can work on getting some quotes.

I think the buttons (or pins) should say A-KAY-UM, so we teach everyone that there were no soft C's in Latin.

Okay I apologize for bringing this up at this time.

I'm sorry.

Of course, I suppose I could dele

In the FAQ section:

How do you pronounce "Acaeum"?

uh-SAY-um.  Or at least, that's how we pronounce it.

I sense a new command word for some of my pregen PCs, and the item will only function upon proper pronunciation (as determined by the DM of course ;) ).

I am all for a pin/button.

I definitely prefer a cloisonne style pin to a button (something with a separate back vs. the usual rock band pins that break eventually, and usually fall off of whatever they're pinned to when they break and you've not noticed).

Perhaps we could do two versions:  the limited edition, and the standard edition?

I'm picturing something similar to what the Hand Of The King wears on Game of Thrones.

We are awfully easy to mock, aren't we?

But let's go even further.  Perhaps the limited editions should come with a certificate of authenticity, signed by Foulfoot.  Which would be particularly exclusive, because I don't know of anyone who has Foul's signature.

But perhaps with better luck.
