And a beautiful scan it is.

I type as fast as I clean up OCR.

I'm glad to be reworking it.  It needed another draft and I'll be proud of the result.

I submitted two events this morning. It's the same Hyperborea scenario I am running three times at Gary Con in March, so it should be pretty smooth by June, as it will have the benefit of lots of playtesting feedback. Details below.

Title: The Strange Tale of Crystal Point (for AS&SH)
Times: Friday 12PM-6PM, Sat 7PM-whenever
Players: 8, level 7-9 pregens provided
Description: In the far reaches of Hyperborea's Crab Archipelago, lies a small, but mountainous island known as Crystal Point. Passing sailors have recently seen a crimson glow in Crystal Point's waters, beams of reddish-brown light shining up from its steep cliffs and unusually frequent lightning storms. One Esquimaux fisherman even claims to have seen ghostly figures haunting the island's shores. Ariston Thalassa, an Atlantean sage in Khromarium, Hyperborea's largest city, has heard these strange tales and approached your party with a promising explanation. He believes Crystal Point may hold the ruins of a lost Atlantean colony -- and its secrets! Eager for adventure and treasure, you agreed to explore the island and, after a long journey, have finally set foot on its rocky beach.

Well, the typing is done on that part.  I'm now doing the typing on the "misc." part (the monster manual that goes with it and the scenario I'm running -- I'm running a different one than the ones in the material I sent Bad Mike).

Now to complete the 5th Edition one for the other day at the con.

Pre-mades here in case you are going to the con and want to try and get in on this game.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/3104342 ... 829649631/

Con Registration, Hotel, Flight:  check!

Now that I'm confirmed to be there, any requests for a Con Mod?  I was thinking a 1st edition Gamma World adventure module and one or more play sessions.  Any interest?

Any other requests?  I'd love to write what people want!

Looks like Doug updated the schedule, so the convention's starting to take shape. Good set of offerings as usual - wish I had more time!

I've sent in my game details for NTX:

Title:   Into the Wreckage
Game System: Gamma World, 1st edition
Time: 3-4 hours
Players: 4-8
Characters: Pre-gens Provided
Reward: Players get a printed copy of the adventure!

Game Description:

After several uneventful days of westward travel, your group has discovered an unusual protrusion in the relatively flat wasteland.  Your field glasses reveal a large metallic object partially covered in years of dirt and sand.  Strange markings on its exterior remind you of the stories you've heard about the League of Free Men, a pre-apocalyptic organization known for its unified government views.  The group was also known for their vast wealth and technological capabilities.  What is this object and why is it in the middle of nowhere?  More importantly, has it already been looted or does it still contain valuable ancient technology?

My two events:

Friday Morning at 10:00
Game Title : City of the Revenant
Game System : OSR (OD&D)
Number of players: 5-7
Pre-generated characters provided (levels 9-11)
World/Setting:  Shattered Norns; City of East Anchorage and the Plateau/City of the Revenant.

Game Info : a completely new adventure set in the iconic City of the Revenant setting originally released in the 1970s.  The players will be provided preparation materials that they can use as much of (or as little of) as they want to review.  Stranded caravan guards, they've been offered employment and great possibilities.

As always, substantial printed material will be provided players who participate.  The material will be in OSR format and will cover the City of the Revenant and the Plane of Ice.  Substantial material will be available pre-convention but the material is broken into two volumes (volume two contains everything that would be a spoiler for a well prepared character).

Saturday Morning at 10:00
Game Title:  Across the Sea of Stars
Game System:  Pre-OSR (hit dice).
Number of players:  5-7
Pre-generated characters:  6HD, human, elf or dwarf, mage, fighter or cleric/bard.
World/Setting:  Shattered Norns; Ostend, Starstrands.

Game info:  a completely new adventure starting in domed port city of Ostend and entering into Starstrands on the way to the final adventure on the plane of fire.  The game will run under a pre-OSR hit dice system, characters will choose their character class and race.

As always, substantial printed material will be provided players who participate.  The material will be in 5th Edition format.  It will cover Ostend and the entry into the Plane of Fire.  It will also the complete rules for running a pre-OSR hit dice system (which takes only about three pages for fast, rules light play).  Less than ten pages of pre-convention material.  The rest will be provided to players after the run.

The pregens for City:

If you like a higher-level dungeon crawl, full of weirdness and where brute force isn't the solution to every problem, stealth and tactics are important and a divination or cleverly-used utility spell can be life saving, you will enjoy this game - just watch out for those disintegration rays!

Sounds great, Donovan!  Will you be running some events at night, by chance too?

Thanks man! I am running it Friday afternoon (12-6) and Saturday night (7-midnight+). I arrive Weds afternoon around 3PM and would be happy to run it off-grid that night or Thursday morning if there is interest. Love to knock off the cobwebs before my scheduled games.
