I thought you already had a deal in place with another member on the Acaeum?  Is this how you do business?  This is a small community and when you try and close a deal based on trust and turn around and try and use that closed deal as leverage within the community you just solidify your status as a jerk or scammer, choose one.  I understand you won't put it up on eBay because you don't use PayPal- the deal you closed had the buyer already PAYING you, but you wouldn't connect any bank account or info to the PayPal account, so the only option is a wire or check which has no recourse- have fun trying to get someone to do that.

I have a feeling that your 2K offer is now exactly a Zero-dollar offer, so have fun trying to find someone willing to send you money with no protections.

You should have been an honest and trustworthy seller, you could have really made a mint on these, but maybe you still may find someone crazy enough to risk a couple thousand on an untrustworthy stranger. I just hope it isn't someone I know.

Well when finding out I should be getting almost 5 times the amount offered I figured id shop for a better deal in the 3 days it was taking to have his money refunded if I couldn't find a substantialy higher bid they would have went to original offer but hearing I could possibly get as much as 10k for them taking 2k with out even checking into it seemed foolish that's an 8k dollar difference deal couldn't be completed until Monday   what's the harm in seeing if I could get what I should be getting I'm next to homeless so the extra I was seeing if I could get is needed not just wanted but I even stated any higher offers would have to be before Monday and one of your very own members stated I shouldn't sell them for 2k I should be getting a lot more so idk it's great for me either way I could finally stop staying at the homeless shelter and rent an apartment so sorry when I heard I may be able to get enough to buy a house I checked into it

And 1 final thing the deal that was waiting for Monday was going to be going through a friends pay pal account so there was security I was never trying to make people just send moneywilly nilly had I been offered the 10k you could probably get for the books I'd have driven them to the persons front door and he may be a member of your community but I found him through eBay

I call bullsh*t and then bullsh*t again.

Double, Triple, Quadruple bullsh*t, horsesh*t, monkey sh*t.

You are going to use a friend's paypal? It's not that hard to set up your own.

That's my take on it

So you had an agreement to sell the books and accepted money for them but then "changed your mind" to sell them for more.  I'm curious here ...my knowledge of US law isn't great but isn't this something the original buyer can sue you for (in small claims court)?  You sold the item to them and are now really trying to sell their item to someone else? If the difference in value is thousands of dollars it might be worth their while.

They had money refunded cuz I couldn't complete the account without bank account so no money was ever gotten or lost all I was trying to do is get a fair price while I had a couple days before deal not that 2k isn't fine but if I could find a buyer for double or triple in such little time it would have been worth it now I'm contemplating just burning the damn things I send you guys link to the YouTube video

The only reason I mention this is because I remember reading a case on Ebay where a seller refunded an auction then sold it for significantly higher and the original buyer sued the seller and won.  You negotiated a price and accepted payment - whether or not you could transfer it to your bank account or not likely doesn't matter.  You still sold an item and collected the payment.  If you had the money to "refund" it means that you had the payment - any other logistics are not the buyer's problem.  It is really up the original buyer on whether he wants to pursue or not - probably depends on how badly you pissed him/her off.

I would too if I found out I had paid for something and the seller was fishing around for more money on a forum.

Let me clue you in on something Ningnang, $2000 was a good offer on those books. When you looked at the Auctions seeing the 1st Print Box Set going from $8000 to $20K, that was because it had the BOX!!! It might not make a lot of sense but it is the box that completes what you have. Without it, you do not have a complete Box Set.

He cancelled because I was unable to receive payment and yeah I fished for a bigger offer not as if I wouldn't let him match the offer or inform him that I had found a better offer imagine this you are selling a car someone says they will buy it in 3 days you find out you may be able to get double or triple what that person is paying you mean to tell me you wouldn't even see what kind of offers you could get for the car now factor in you have been homeless for the last 3 months couch surfing at friends houses and you hold the possibility to be able to rent a place with the 2k or perhaps put a substantial down payment on a home with a better offer cuz that's all I was thinking about I could maybe finally have some kind of peace in my life and get. My daughter back without having to worry about a place to go forever so excuse the piss out of me for trying to get a better deal

If you want to use your car analogy, its more like ... imagine you bought a car, paid the seller, got the keys and drove away.  The next day you go outside and find the car is gone and seller left a note in your mailbox, here's your money back I found someone willing to pay more so I took the car back.

Wow $2K sure does go far in the US.

Ningning, why can't you put this on eBay?  If you need money quick, do a 3 day auction.  All this personal drama is not helping you - it is hurting your chances.  The more desperate and frantic you sound, the more believable it is that you would run some con.  If you want to sell high ticket items, try not acting like a tweeker.

To everyone else, unless you live near Ashland, WI and can meet Ningning for an all cash transaction in a secure place (like a bank lobby with an armed guard), I would advise not going near this.
