I know.  :(  That was the result of an ill-advised DNS edit earlier today.  It's been fixed, but the DNS propagation is taking longer than usual.  Should hopefully be correctly resolving for everyone by morning.

Everything I tried worked for me.  It's good to have the forums back.  Thanks for all your hard work.   8)

You're all welcome!  I've edited the first post in this thread to identify my immediate to-do list.  Slowly but surely.

Some user avatars aren't showing up for me, and occasionally emails with links like this:
Webmaster email wrote:Hello rredmond,

The topic "Interesting Items Currently on eBay" at The Acaeum has received
a new reply since your last visit. You can view this post by clicking on
the following link:
Re: Interesting Items Currently on eBay

When I click on the link leads me to an "unauthorized to view" page: https://www.acaeum.com/403.shtml#p310336
But honestly that's easy to work around, and I'm guessing it's the same issue as grubbiv has:
grubbiv wrote in Impending Server Move / Downtime:Links starting with "https://acaeum.com" work for me, but links starting with "https://www.acaeum.com" don't. As a result I can't follow the link from the home page to the forum.
Other than that the place looks great as always. :D
Be well!

I've seen the avatar thing too.  Try pressing Ctrl-F5 in your browser; that worked for me in bringing the missing avatars back.

The email link thing is a separate issue.  Let me look into that.  In the meantime, you can get a functional link by chopping off the "e=" part of the URL.  Not sure why that's getting put in there like that.

There still seems to be some issues with DNS resolving.  I wasn't able to get to www.acaeum.com from work today, until I changed by DNS provider to Google DNS; then it came up fine.  I'm guessing that for whatever reason, some DNS providers are a little slow in updating.

A truer pic than you know.  I cant tell you how many times I've unplugged one thing on the server, and it breaks just about everything.  You'd think that (figuratively) plugging that thing back in would fix it, but many times it doesn't.

In any case, I'm making progress here.  Slowly but surely.

I think the email notification links were broken for at least a few weeks before the site upgrade, Scott:  the email notifications for new posts in a thread were taking me to page 1 of the thread, not to the new post itself (and I wasn't clicking on the lower/thread link).

Now, after the upgrade, the URL of Your Personal Invitation to Adventure resolves to https://www.acaeum.com/403.shtml#p310463

The Wiki should be back up.  Let me know if you spot anything that's not right with it.

If somebody could check to see if the links in email notifications (like new-post notifications on the Class 4&5 Rares thread, etc) are still giving problems?

We no longer have what looked like multiple variant covers of Your Personal Invitation to Adventure, so Class 3 Rares is okay.
