That is a complete misinterpretation of the OSR on their part, as "wokeness" or "non-wokeness" has nothing to do with the appeal of 70s/80s style RPGs.So, in a way they may think their response is going to draw in the customers they are looking for. However, "strategy" indicates a level of competence and planning that they have yet to demonstrate.
