However, In this case regardless of whether you consider him a scammer or not the results are the same. People are paying for items which they never receive and once the transaction is done he does not respond to emails. If I take a look at his feedback there are quite a few people with the same issue.

If I am looking at buying an item and I see this type of feedback (consistently) then I will avoid the seller like the plauge. So he may not be a scammer but his business practices still leave a lot to be desired and are probably driving business away.

Terry Jefferies made three different errors in three of the seven or so things I bought from him.

In two of the cases he immediately sent me replacement copies for the missing items...and he did not ask for return of the other items he sent me in error.

In another case, he refunded my money (including shipping) because he did not have another copy....and he did not ask for the return of the incomplete item I received.

At the time I was dealing with fencert, I was not a member of the Acaeum and I had an Ebay feedback total of less than 10...maybe even less than 5.

i am not defending or anything....other than to say that i prb more than everyone here combined (and believe me when i say this) have dealt with him on many occasions over the last 3 years.

yes, he isnt the most accurate and there have been mix-ups etc on the way along, but he has always come through with a result for me. i am in the UK and have received normal jiffy's, M-Bags and shipping consignments (and i am talking like 4 patettes here). so as with certain other sellers that are mentioned on this site, i could also have quite easily been royally ripped off by him, but i wasnt. i have contacted him personally on a number of occasions, even on behalf of others and as far as i am aware, he has pulled through each time.

i KNOW he is not a scam artist. no way man. i do know he has prb too many fingers in too many pies and being like that, its very easy to mess something up. and i quite agree, it IS no excuse as i wouldnt have it that way myself.

which reminds me i need to e-mail paul murphy - thanks for reminding me!

as i am a good person, i will contact him for you, whether you like it or not, and will direct him to sorting this query, as i believe anyone should be given fair opportunity to defend themselves, given such heated offence.

Mike, you are correct that the end results end up looking the same and so I agree its not an excuse. I am just merely pointing out the fact that this isn't the next Cougarrinard or Jonb sitting there wringing his hands behind his computer on who he is screwing & when his next rip off will be.

however, Terry i WILL defend quite strongly as i know he would never willingly rip anyone.

making a muck-up of things is no excuse and i wholeheartedly agree. i can only hope that now i have got hold of him, it will all be sorted out to everyones benefit and we can all be happy again

This will certainly be my last post on this matter. I appreciate what others are saying and doing. There appears to be some people who think I'm just being petty and that fencert is the aggrieved party in this. If this were so, don't you think I would have been posting my grievances long before this. It was a year and a half ago. My ONLY reason for bringing this up was to ascertain if Helenandterry and fencert were connected so I don't make the same mistake twice. Just check the thread topic. If I had wanted to bash him here, I would have done it a LONG time ago. I don't believe in it. And I'm not being touchy. I related the facts as I KNOW them. But then some people, tried to defend him(call it what you like) by saying he's honest, but disorganized. I was flabbergasted. Are you saying I should deal with him even though the order may be messed up because he MEANS well? Get real. How long does it take to get organized? All I got from him were excuses, and then nothing. They forgot to send it out, the PO wrecked my package, THE DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK! My mama didn't raise no fool. I was patient and courteous and then I was left out in the cold. So I chalked it up to experience and DID NOT come here airing my problems. And that's the end of it. If you want to deal with him, fine, go ahead. Me, I'd rather stick burning embers up my peeny hole. -Tom

All due respect, but what exactly do you want since its obvious you don't want resolution to the issue you stated you had?

My VERY last post on this. Bclarkie, you failed to address why it took me a year and half to start bashing him. Stating that I got ripped off is merely a statement of FACT and not running anyone down. You were not there, I was. I tried very hard to get resolution and I did it in a civilized manner. Now if fencert is giving you a reach-around, I could care a less. But try getting off your damned, high horse and coming down to earth. My respect for you is fading fast. My last point on this. I must say that if someone actually ripped me off of my money(regardless of the details that surrounded it), I would be jumping for joy at the opportunity to recover my money from the individual that took it, no matter how I feel about the person who did it, yet for some reason you don't. It really makes one wonder....

well i offered to help twofold, as i am a nice guy. i know terry is a great guy, which is why i got in touch with him & as i know him, i gave him the heads up that there was a problem.

i have no doubt that he will sort it. if it was me, i would sort it whether you wanted me to or not.

there are many reasons why the problem may not be resolved, but as i am not terry, i wouldnt know. its nothing to do with me at all really, i gain nothing out of this, other than to help out a fellow collector, where i can make a difference.

nothing more i can say or do on this issue. youre quite clearly dead set in your head about what you think so i will leave you to your own devices there.

youre clear on the issue that nothing whatsoever on this world will satisfy matters for you now, so frankly i dont see why you even bothered to raise this thread in the first place.

if it was just to know if the other ID was terry, then the matter should have been left there.

anyway whatever....i have packing and many other more important things to spend my time on.
