notnaidag is set 20 miles away from valla. there is a map of the surrounding  area (100x80 mile map) as well of course as an interior map of the robber headquarters.

This is not mind-boggling or anything, but I finally finished up collecting
G1, G2, G3, D1, D2, D3, and Q1.

They are in G or VG condition, which is fine for my collection.

Each is a 2nd print except G3, which is 3rd.

At the very least, it's a complete set, which has been an oddly frustrating endeavor given the fact that these aren't all that rare.

I'll collect Lizard Logo duplicates once my piggy bank is filled up again.

The whole series is like that for me.
It's balanced, well thought out, and just plain fun.

And your goal is similar to my own: recollect my old collection, while adding world of GH material along the way.  

And collecting by its very nature requires patience.
You'll eventually find Ravenloft and Demonweb at the price you want.  
Maybe not on eBay.  But if you're like me, you'll always keep an eye out at used bookstores and so forth. :)

I've no doubt I'll get them one day at the right price, I'm in no hurry and its not as if having a few more modules will make my life complete. (My list I made about 7 years ago for my FR collection was done in a similar way - I could have completed it in a fortnight if I'd have thrown money at it but it wasn't the way I wanted to go - No way I wanted to pay over £20 for Kidnapped or over £10 for Code of the Harpers, so I simply waited and waited. Only downside is I am STILL missing one item - H1 of course, and I simply cannot justify thhe cost it goes for (I have most of the contents, just missing the box and counters, so its not exactly a gap in my FR knowledge either - one day I'll get one, and I'll say now that it will cost me less than £15).

Without the thrill of the hunt, its not collecting, its just shopping

Just got The Dragon issues # 23 (Mar 79) and # 29 (Sept 79).

I'm reading # 29 right now.
Interesting letter to "Out on a Limb" regarding a feud between Gygax and Ken St. Andre of T&T, and the letter writer's perception that TSR was overly sensitive and overly defensive when criticized.  

(I don't know whether that was true, but interesting to see this one guy's point of view.)

I've never done any T&T (sounds like a dirty joke, doesn't it?),
but I gather it must've been an early "rules lite" system, to use current lingo.

The issue also contains Mythos of Oceania using GDGH stat blocks; stats for "giants" from Jack Vance and Roger Zelazny; and a spell point system that I'm not sure I understand.

I love reading these old magazines.  A lot of nostalgia!
