Screw ups?!  That's a fine how-do-you-do!  I was recruiting at a job fair, unable to leave my table since I was solo, talking to hundreds of job seekers, when I got the message - badmike has started a March Madness group and I had 3 hours to sign up.  Trying to manipulate a phone far smarter than I, trying not to appear that I was less than totally involved in my recruiting efforts, trying to read the print on a screen the size of a postage stamp - I was lucky to sign up at all.  Filling in the bracket?  Just not possible.  I do love you for starting the group, and will try the second chance dealio.  Screw ups.  Sheesh.

Hey, I was just happy because for once I was going to beat you at something. I take my pathetic little victories where I can get them.....

I have no doubt you and your bookies will clean my clock in the "short" league.

You beat me last year.  At this.  Since you and your co-winner Martin are two of the nicest people I know, I can't complain.  Or rather, I shouldn't complain.  As you know, I can complain with the best of them.  Anyway, thanks for letting me play with the big boys.  Now to ask my bookie what he thinks about Obama choosing Kansas as the top dog....

Some really great games so far....shaping up to be an exciting tournament this year!!!  I'm seeing a lot more parity than in year's past between teams.

And the Gators make it into the Sweet Sixteen.  Nice to see them have a successful season again.

Worst brackets I've ever done.  An 11 seed against a 12 seed.  Purdue got their ass handed to them.  The game was so bad I could not watch.  Same with ND.

Ditto.  Have a 10 seed (Florida St), two 11 seeds (Marquette and VCU), and a 12 seed (Richmond) ever made it to the Sweet Sixteen in one year?  If ever there was a year for an upset Final Four candidate....but the favorites should win out in the end.

Congrats Jo on the Gators making it to the Sixteen! They sure have UCLA's number in the tournament.

Yeah, my bad ... I'm usually more on top of this sort of thing.

This might be the first year since I was 14 or so that I'm not in any sort of bracket contest anywhere. Not one. Just too much RL going on lately, I guess.

This has been an entertaining March Madness, and my brackets aren't all that good either. However, they are about as good as any I've ever done which reveals my annual lack of skill.

I do feel good about my chances of moving up as I feel like North Carolina matches up well against Marquette, and Connecticut matches up well against San Diego State, but then again, I felt good about all my picks at the beginning of the tourney.   :?

Has anyone seen President Obama's bracket?  8O

Here is the signup for a "second chance" league, if you didn't get in at the front of this year's tournament you can be a part of it the next two weeks...

Plaag & bbarsh,

What no love for Butler?  Watch what they do to Wisconsin.  However, if Wisconsin shoots 3's like they did last game no one can beat them.  Luckily they do not shoot like that often.

I like Butler, but some of this Cinderella stuff has got to wear off some time or another. And if Wisconsin plays like can, I don't see them losing to Butler. I actually have now picked the Badgers to beat the Buckeyes (because I hate them) in the championship game. Go Bucky! (and I like their governor   )

Well, I think I have exactly one team left in the Great Eight and Final Game - the hated Luckeyes (assuming they actually win). F---ing Wisconsin decided not to show up last night. There is a reason I never do this bracket thing.

Alas, would have been nice.  Sorry to see the Badgers out of it now.

Lots of brackets have crashed and burned this year with so many oddball winners.....
