Dennis Sustare lives near me, so I'm always on the lookout for a chariot weaving through traffic, or intelligent rabbits with siege engines. Looking for a druid would be pointless, since one of those would just blend in with the average Austin crowd.

Funny, I think everyone has something like this come up eventually. I found out about two months before I moved away from Delaware that the guy who wrote the "Morrow Project" RPG, which I know nothing about except from what I read in Dragon magazine adverts, lived less than a mile down the road.

Recently completed the first series of Endless Quest books, from #1 to #36.
Two or three of them were not so easy to find in collectible condition.
I wonder if I will now search a #2 with a face logo ...

Austin is a strange place...

That's not an easy accomplishment. Some of them are fairly difficult to find. I still haven't completed my quest for all of them, primarily because they are a low priority, and when they do come up, they are overpriced or in lousy condition.

I have a few collection avenues that I'd consider to be endless quests

Nicely done! I like the pic.

I have to ask though, Conan, ok I get that... but Tarzan? Really?

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

Very nice! I've found a few of the 19-36 from time to time but need quite a few still. I have an extra TSR face #2 in decent condition if you are interested. Let me know if you would like pics or description.

I am still missing #23 and 31 and I think only #2 from the Super Endless Quest books and have all of the silver Endless Quest ones. At some point I decided to stop collecting these but I still think they are great books.

Sort of relevant... finally found the last issue of Knights Of The Dinner Table that I needed (yes, #1) at a sub-ridiculous price. Now I can get started reading and see what all the fuss has been about for a couple decades. :wink:

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

I remember Jolly talking about presenting a #1 to a comic book store owner who casually turned and tossed it a box by his feet. I think at the time a #1 was going for a couple of hundred bucks but not in the comic book price guides where it was listed at cover or less.

According to this website: http://www.gamebooks.org/eq1list.htm there arent that many versions with a #2 (or the author of the website just doenst have it). However there seem to be three versions of some of the books...

Just received White Dwarf 2, which took a while to find at a reasonable price!

That gives me 1-111. Anyone have 112-119 available? That would finish the run of 1-142 that I want (through the end of the WFRP era).

My CoC collection doesn't have any of the real obsure items, but I checked off the last couple Games Workshop and Theatre of the Mind supplements... I continue to be impressed with the overall quality of this game line, I find even the non-Chaosium books to be decent reads
