If there is a difference other than the color of the envelopes, I'll be surprised.

One version of every general-release TSR or Gygax title made for the game (O/B/A/Coloring book), 1974-1980. It has taken me since 1986 to complete the Holmes Basic portion, & hundreds of dollars, with each title bought individually. (In comparison, it took me five months & $20 to get all of OD&D; monochrome-era AD&D took about $100 & a decade to complete. Much of O/AD&D was obtained in lots & by trade rather than cash.)

The Holmes collection includes as much ephemera as I've been able to find:

Chits
Gateway to Adventure catalog, red-devil-face cover
Your Personal Invitation to Adventure

The above fills the box exactly (half of it being loose-leaf sheets), & would have cost just under $40 in Carter-era money. Plus some extras:
An unused copy of the boxed game, November 1978 printing; B1 has a banner that runs off the corner. Now sealed up as a time capsule to be buried with me so that it & my rotting flesh shall become one.

You only collected the HC for Adventures in High Fantasy, and SC for High Fantasy?

I am wondering if your 2nd copy of High fantasy is not missing is cover (the cream one). I have the same with a wrapped-around color cover (with blank circle without price).

Yes the one HF is missing the colour cover... I like the spirit of publishing a 'back-up' cover for when the jacket goes missing, so I have kept it

And I'm usually a one-and-done collector... one print for the collection, then on to the next thing!

I finally finished the Grenadier adventure module series (well, unless Allan turns up a possible fifth module - acaeum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10& ... mp;t=13948 - in that case, I'm only 4/5 complete).

Monhegan Island and Aramat I picked up for $20 each, and Cloudland and Rajallapor were under $10 each. Not bad, considering good copies of Monhegan typically sell for $35+ (or get listed as BINs for around $75) and Cloudland can sometimes go for $20 to $40. Aramat was probably the least common of the four during my search for these.

Just resurrecting one of my favorite threads... I'd spent the summer packing up for a move - and then the autumn unpacking - so I'm hoping to be able to post a few more pics from here on.  I've also got a library/game room construction project on the go... I'll put up some photos if there's interest.
