I logged on yesterday because I have been receiving e-mails about the kickstarter documentary project and wanted to add to the conversation here. I also like seeing what other people are collecting. Other than that I check in periodically to see if there have been any new discoveries that I might be interested in pursuing. I have purchased many items from collectors here. I remember purchasing some things from Badmike, I believe it was from a text list he had on AOL but I could be mistaken about that..

That sounds about right. Good to have you back!

I just realized that my Acaeum account passed the 10 year mark on 9/3/13. I was reading the site way before that but I didn't notice the forums when they were first created, so it was a bit before I was registered. Doesn't feel like 10 years have passed since then.  8O

My first post was from the same day, answering a general question from Deadlord about TSR's Vampyre.

I couldn't remember when I joined the Acaeum until I saw this post and looked at my join date.

I sort of miss going to local conventions like Michicon just to go to the auction, sale for Gen Cons decades ago. As has been said, eBay changed everything, as did rec.games.marketplace before it.
I wish I had kept more of my early emails from the early 90s.
