I'm not certain who this is and hope that I'm not out of line putting this on here. But if anyone is looking for the Elmore Print of the ALEAC, there is one up on eBay right now and it's never been taken out of it's tube.

I am call this very sus .... the images relate to an Easley Print and not Elmore.  There is no print number listed which would be on the tube.

I sent the seller a message.  The print number was usually written on only one end of the tube and since only one end is showing, it may be on the other end.  Still, I can't believe he didn't take the print out of the tube to at least picture it.  I also can't believe the seller didn't advertise here.  We'll see.   :?

I thought that too (being the Easley print) but just decided to go with what the seller called it. I sent the seller a question about one of the other listings.

I suspect it's legitimate considering the other items that are listed by the seller.

I got a message back from the seller, and everything he says makes it sound legit.  He's selling due to a divorce.  I hope he didn't mind me sharing that.  I  told him how to take the print out of the tube safely and recommended he state the print number next time as well as show a photo of the print itself.

Hello everybody!

I am this scoundrel seller!

Now I see how this auction went into dust!  I could not figure out where the confusion of what I was listing came from.

I was a fool to try and list anything over the weekend as I was having quality time with the kids.  I try to list on Sundays but I just couldn't get a good spot of time so I was cheating for time to list where I could get it.  I'm in a horrible time crunch to sell things (been given about a month + other tasks)  & have just honestly made some mistakes.  In my head I sometimes confuse Easley/Elmore.  I've been around long enough not to make this mistake.

Next, for the life of me I cannot find a picture of this print that I could use without unrolling my print out of the tube.  The solution was to take the print out of the tube.  I have boxes of stuff around, 3 kids running about and I am not going to risk taking it out.  Also, if I was a buyer I would much rather that print not be handled at all.  My tube has no print number on either side of it.  It is surely listed here in the forums but see *time situation above.

The fun part for me in this was that I could not figure out why there was any confusion.  I stated plainly that the picture was not of the print & that I did not have a picture of the print because I am not taking it out of the tube.  Seeing the other posts here brings understanding as to the questions that were asked of me that I thought odd.

So thanks to you all for messaging me cause that one was a mess.  I imagine I will list it again soon with a few others I tried to cut corners on to fit into Sunday.  I still hate to part with it.  And....I'm not taking it out of the tube!  Not doing it!  Over the years most of the stuff I collected is in the exact same condition I bought it in myself. I think buyers of my stuff might appreciate that in the long run.

Sorry for the confusion I created and thank you for patience and helping a bro out.

BTW, Sorry I did not advertise here but I did ask questions a little while back about selling the print here and assumed anyone interested would have taken the impetus and PM me. I received no solicitations so just assumed there was no interest.  Not to mention I do need the cash, I am trying to save my home so I need a large audience.

I think there were several Acaeum prints that were sold on a facebook grp, btw. So you could also try there too. I don't recall the final prices though. $500 may be high, I can't seem to locate a final price and I thought I saved the auction.
