That's actually down from before.  They were trying to sell it(and other 1st print supps) for $250 for awhile.  $120 isn't too bad for 1st print though, but generally anything that TrollandToad sells is synonymous with "Silliest Price"

That is the first thing I thought when I opened the auction.  We could probably have a very busy thread if restricted to only T&T's silliest prices.

A lot of their bulk items are at good prices but the items they deem as rare are ridiculously priced.   I'm hoping my transaction with them works out - I've won about 116 auctions  8O

Be sure to bring your floaties.

And try not to choke on the BIN price.

He has another of that series listed as well.

Both of them at $149..... USD........

Bet you what happened is he ran it through a spell-checker and let it auto-correct everything.

They've got nothing on his S1 and S2: $162 USD.

That is old Valhalla Games stock, the erstwhile global master of silly prices. It seems they closed down as there are a lot of Western Australia Sellers auctioning off old Valhalla stock at the moment. We were discussing it a little in this thread:

viewtopic.php?t=7354

The problem with this old stock is that a lot of it was re-shrinkwrapped by Valhalla, so the inside of the items is a lucky dip. The Monsters! Monsters! I recently bought is in great condition - except there is a Valhalla Games company sticker on the contents page! Impossible to remove because it is old paper. Most of these old Valhalla things seem to have comapny stickers on the inner pages somewhere.

Now I have not tracked these since I purchased my last one a couple years ago. But this sure does seem heavy.

Wow. I've never seen one go for that much. May be a US buyer taking advantage of our dollar.

This is just sad:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

He wants $115 for a later printing of Tractics that doesnt even have the correct box bottom.

Come now, "Traveller" sounds sort-of kind-of like "Tractics"... ;)

"The binding is excellent!"  8O

What the hell did they do?  Tape it up on a wall and take a sandblaster to it?

Is it me, or is okay to be sad when they disassemble the items out of the boxed set?

His BIN is over $20 a book and his shipping is at least $15 over actual priority cost.

I've found 4th edition books going for more like $10 t0 $15 each and none so far have been hard to find.

But it's a deal! The seller says so himself!  :?
