Yes.

For SW I am only referring to TSR items. Lots of the early TSR SW is distinctive.

The bigger picture for me is how do we get the early TSR pioneers the recognition they deserve. Quite a few efforts in that regard now but I'm thinking BIGGER :)
A separate thread for another day once I have made progress.

I suspect they have all the recognition they are going to get outside of niche fandom on the internet, and local-boy-does-good in the various jurisdictions that can lay claim to the birth of an RPG pioneer. Having one's son piss all over one's reputation does nothing but tarnish a family name mind you.

It wouldn't even be worth that if it came with the Author signing his IP over to you.

Mage was created by Wilf Backhaus, who died in 2009. It was published by Archaeron Games in 1980, which was followed up by Warrior in 1981. They are unusual, but not impossible to find. I would not use the overused term "rare" to define their relative scarcity.

Google it. You’ll probably find a copy you can read.
Not worth buying for $62 unless it’s in NM condition.
Certainly not worth paying $6200 for in Fair to Good condition unless it’s wrapped in sixty-two $100 bills and a hand written apology from the seller for being a bellend.

Yup, this one belongs here...although some of these are getting harder to find in SW.

They are not.  However over the past 18 months that I have been actively monitoring the series on ebay, I have not seen the following come up for sale in SW.

GAZ1        The Grand Duchy of Karameikos
GAZ3        The Principalities of Glantri
GAZ8        The Five Shires
GAZ9        The Minrothad Guilds.  <= this auction
GAZ10        The Orcs of Thar
GAZ14        The Atruaghin Clans

Given that, the gazetteers that have sold in SW have ranged from 100 to 175 USD.

Given whats going on in markets & crypto. I'm guessing the "Silliest" candidates will soon be ultra-low prices vs the normal ridiculously high very soon....

Lets see...

I'm not sure what the point is pricing an item 5x more than its previous sales... and this one is not perfect by any means.

Most of the items this seller has listed are quite high.
