Gnat, RC Pinnell is Thorkhammer (here I think, for sure on DF), his mods are available from Lulu - search for the store worldofthorkhammer.

KoP, nice Complete - I'm a sucker for collections that display with such symmetry :)

Where did you pick up the first print of the G4? My G5 also says 'second print' on the back cover - I guess that's another to track down...

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

I bought the original printing of G4 from his Lulu store shortly after he started selling them. I dont recall the exact time frame though. Surprisingly my G5 also says second printing on the back, which is a bit strange since I normally buy these right after they are released. I dont think the cover art is any different. I can only assume there are some corrections that went into the second printing. :scratch:

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

That makes no sense. A print is a physical copy. The first 'print' is the one marked 'second print' then.

Metaphysically at least. The world outside is chaotic so at least within the small press RPG world I can try and bring complete order. And no I'm not going to start calling my version of G4 a prepub - its a 1st print and the rest are just labeled wrong.

Well, there's a revelation. A first print of RC Pinnell's G4.

He must have just made some copies on a photocopier...eh?

I have the others from Lulu.

Dang...now it is impossible to get a complete set. :evil:

PDF files are awesome for actual gaming.

Finally finished my Birthright collection of mainstream gaming releases. Still need the RPGA (print) version of Hogunmark, the novels, and the Ral Partha miniatures.

Why Birthright? When I used to DM a bit, I was never ambitious enough to create my own world like our talented #1 DM. So I needed someone else to do the work for me, and the world and features of Birthright caught my eye. Pity we never got very deep in the campaign; I think we would have had a lot of fun getting into the domain stuff.

A couple years after that, I landed a job at WoTC. My boss in the D&D group? None other than Rich Baker, creator of Birthright! I really should have had Rich sign my campaign setting box, if only to satisfy my inner BR fanboy. Good times.

Yes. I think he "made" a couple dozen for people interested on Dragonsfoot. The thread may still be around if you look for it.

It is a side stapled item, made up of sheets that are 17 X 11 so its a bit better than a typical 8.5 X 11 print job at kinkos.

As for photocopier comments like:

Isn't this exactly what lulu is? I'll give lulu credit for a more finished product but they use "digital printing" which is essentially the same process as photocopying but different starting point.

Photocopy: Paper source ->Gets scanned in to create digital source->Printed out
Digital Print: Digital Source->Printed out

Neither use a conventional printing press method.
