I think we can all agree that this is the true meaning of Thanksgiving, & is the idea that Massasoit (chief of the native Wampanoag) was trying to express to the Puritan settlers during the original celebration.

To everyone that does and doesn’t celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you get to celebrate with family and friends for all the good things that life brings.  May peace and happiness find you all.

If you are spending the day with gaming-related activities, our president has suggested this theme, according to NBC:

'NANTUCKET, Mass. — President Joe Biden called upon a deeply divided U.S. to “stop the rancor,” as he continued a longtime family tradition of celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday on this island off of Cape Cod.'

If you choose to take this holiday message to heart, here are the stats to use, according to the Star Wars Saga Edition Wiki:
Rancor Statistics (CL 11)
Huge Beast 12
Initiative: +5; Senses: Low-Light Vision, Perception +10
Reflex Defense: 17 (Flat-Footed: 17), Fortitude Defense: 16, Will Defense: 8
Hit Points: 138, Damage Threshold: 26; Fast Healing 5

Thanksgiving dinner could be more fun with a turkey that eats you!

Its that time of the year again where in the US we consume way to much food and football.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving. And for those of you across the pond I hope you are at a game convention this weekend.

They probably celebrate it now too. They look at the US and say "Thank God we got rid of those berks".
We did a building Thanksgiving, a couple of the wives cooked up enough food to feed Kenya for a year and they brought it to the common room. Pretty much every vet showed up like vultures on a Serengeti carcass. I forgot how coarse the humor and language gets and brought the kid. He was laughing like Kamala at a rally. Strange to think three years ago Thanksgiving was a can of Campbell's Chunky Chicken Corn Chowder and a slice of blueberry cheesecake in my car, randomly driving around during a snowstorm.
No matter how bad life gets, someone has it worse. Remember that, and it makes it easier to deal with problems.
