The Acaeum Library is already a huge part of this endeavor....

That would be pretty awesome.

The committee has come to a crossroads of sorts as we don't have an obvious artist to pursue.   Our goal with the first project was for a large group of ACAEUM members to come together and hire a top-line, old-school artist to create a piece of art that we could not afford individually.   While there are top-line, old-school artists available for hire, their price point may push participation to such a low level that not enough people can participate.  And the committee is not interested in pursing a artist just so we can have a project.  Here's a link to the poll.  Please vote if you remain interested in an art project and any of the artist choices, and their corresponding costs, interest you.

For anyone who is wondering, the committee is still working on trying to secure the best old-school artist we can at the best price we can, probably Elmore or Caldwell.  We are aware that these classic artists are not getting any younger.  It is looking more and more like the price of the next print will be about $220.00, maybe more, depending on how many participants we have.  These would be the same size and quality as before.  We are trying to produce something which is a attractive to at least 50 people.  If you could state whether you'd likely be in or out given this limited amount of information, that would be helpful as the committee deliberates.  You will not be locked in or out based on your reply.
