Which is not to say that there is a mistake module pack with an X6 inside it instead of an X1, merely that if there were it would be an anomaly.

I'd have to suspect that any 'oddities' that might happen are simply to get rid of a few spares lying around without going full cost to start yet another combo pack.

Meh, somebody just got the brilliant idea to actually put a product code on the deal a little too late.

That is simply amazing ... wonderful ... dare I say "delicious". I remember seeing these sets at the store I went to in college, but never picked up a set, as I already had the modules that were in them. Being on a college budget, I figured why spend my limited "discretionary" funds on modules I had ... who knew

The bottom three are translations of B11 King/s Festival, B12 Queen's Harvest, and B10 Night's Dark Terror. Published 1994, 1995, and 1996. They have fold-out color maps.

The middle three are a translation of the Rules Cyclopedia, though broken into three parts: "Players", "Dungeon Masters", and "Monsters". Published 1994. They have color plates: http://mystara.thorf.co.uk/jrc.php

The top book, published 1993, has よく分かる written on it which reminds me a bit of of the phrase "Easy to Master" from the 1991 box set. Not a translation, though. Blackdougal's site has it as a revision of a same titled book by a different company: http://www.tsrarchive.com/in/jp/jp-intro.html. The first half of the book discusses the 6 atttributes, the 7 playable classes, and equipment. The second half of the book takes the form of a dialogue between the DM and the players. The players roll up characters: Darth Vader the thief, Ben Kenobi the magic user, Pendragon the fighter, Legolas the elf, and Rasputin the cleric. I can't quite follow the entire adventure but they encounter goblins.
