I actually need the Dragons to lose as well, since they are up on me in points.  But more then likely I can get the Ladies of Pain in and have her eventually take 1st place :D

Do want to welcome Eruantien into the "Loser Playoffs" though.

Good to see the Packers #5 and needing only a couple of wins to cement their wildcard spot.  Don't see the Vikings loosing all 3 games they have coming up.  Looks like the other spot would go to either Eagles should they slip, Cowboys or Giants (not sure on the later two's tie breaker status).

Wow...even the Chargers defensive players are making fun of the Cowboys and their play calling.

If the Cowboys can catch and beat the eagles, they would have the tie-breaker over the eagles.

The eagles have the tie-breaker over the Giants.

The Giants have the tie-breaker over the Cowboys.

The Cowboys wont catch the Eagles and IMO they will be lucky just to win one more game (WASH) and finish at even (8-8.)

Even that is mostly wishful thinking though.

The so-called kicker (Folk) will keep his job for at least this week.
With the game on Saturday, they dont have time to bring in another guy and have him practice enough to be able to move in, unless they are REALLY pissed off....

Besides, one missed Field Goal (or even 8 of them) will NOT make a difference against the Saints anyway.

Plus the Coyboy Front Office genious's are the ones who spent the draft pick for him.
Dropping him now would make them look stupid.... so they will probably hang onto him for the rest of this season and just not resign him for next season.
Saves them some face, since the lack of production from that draft pick will go un-noticed and just fall by the wayside as a Non-News item in the off-season.

BTW: for those who are not aware, Folk has missed at least one Field Goal in each of the last five games.

Terrific. Save some for next week, A-hole.

How come you took him out in two leagues, Mike? I have him in my only other league and play him every week - he's one of the best WR going around.

Did you have to pick two out of him, Andre, Larry, Brandon and Reggie?

Sorry, I mispoke....I didnt' take him out, this was the week he sat out with the concussion (two weeks ago) so I was forced to sit him. My fill ins (Mike Simms Walker and Braylon Edwards) screwed the pooch for me.

Ah, that makes sense. I figured you wouldn't voluntarily take him out of the lineup so was confused.

Thanks for organising the Luddite league this year - even though I finished in last place, I had a great time. I can't even blame injuries for my poor showing, unfortunately. All my guys stayed healthy all year.

(probably not getting much of the ball, and doing nothing when they got it, meant they could play every week. No pulled hamstrings or concussions for the Cubes).

Good luck to those teams in the playoffs...

Ah, the Luddite league.  My terrible draft screwed me but good.  Nevertheless I try my hardest and manage to only outdo the aforementioned Mdr003 and win one more game than he did all season.

Meanwhile, my brother joined just to fill out the league, had autodraft, changed his lineup maybe 5 times the entire year, had a maybe half a dozen pickups, and is in the playoffs. Keee-rist.

It's fun, and football knowledge helps...but fantasy football is more random than we usually think.[/b]

Well no worries, your game was effected by the point change monster for last week.  Only ever had that happen to me once, and it ended in me going from a loss to a tie.

Please note the NFL changed its ruling of Kurt Warner's week 15 touchdown pass to Anquan Boldin to a lateral, making it a rushing play. Stats related to this play have been updated to reflect this change.

A latteral pass is still a pass....
It is NOT a handoff.

HOW is it that they can wait for so long to make such a change?
So, instead of winning by 0.6 points my team lost last week.

Sheese... For the second season in a row one of my fantasy football teams loose a championship slot by a tie rule and a play change.

Good luck in the championship Eclavdra's Giants and Ladies of Pain.

The Robert Meachem "non TD" a few weeks ago helped me lose a game in one of my fantasy leagues by a point.  Basically Meachem got a TD by running a fumble in, but in the convoluted rules bullshit most leagues have set up, Meachem didn't get the TD since he was a member of the defense at the time. But he still got a TD...why should it matter HOW he got the TD?  Running in a fumble, pass, run, running back a kick etc it's a TD.  Anyway got screwed on that one...

One reason I like running my own league (this is our 16th year) is the ability to overrule stupid ass decisions and do the logical thing.

of course, it may just be that I know jack...
