Unfortunately, no. You could buy one off someone else at a hefty mark-up possibly. If you offered $150.00 for someone's print, it's possible someone might give in, but that's speculation on my part. It is a Limited Edition and it was limited to 65 prints, plus two artist copies (which are not numbered nor have a Certificate of Authenticity).

I wish I had better news.

But why the other thing?
Why roll it up with the art on the outside?

I am quite sure there is some really great reason to roll the Prints so that the artwork is on the OUTSIDE rather than on the inside of the roll... but....
Would you mind explaning a bit more?

There will be a copy for auction at NTRPG Con this year...starting bid what we paid for it ($82). This may be the only one available for some time, unless someone is looking to turn their copy over pretty quickly (doubtful, but you never know with today's economy). I will have to talk it over with Doug but I think we can accomodate a proxy bid with the understanding that if you stiff us on a proxy bid you are DEAD to us in the future (no auction bids, no raffle tickets, no registering on the site, no reservations for future NTRPG Cons, etc)

I have a feeling most of these are destined for framing and someone's wall. They are starting out hard to find and will only get harder.....

Just a quick question, Mike. If the stock is heavier than you thought, you might contact the printer to see if he has any advice and/or recommendations on whether the print should be rolled at all. This way you do not have to experiment with the prints.

Also, I agree with Bill Barsh. Trying to navigate flights with a tube or package in hand is a nightmare. I would like mine shipped as well.

My thanks to the committee as well. As a general matter, no good deed usually goes unpunished. So kudos to all of you on a job well done.

And though I am attending NTRPGCon, I will also take advantage of our underappreciated US postal system. Trying to get a large tube through an airport x-ray machine is something I would prefer to avoid. :lol:

Experimenting with one of the NTRPG Con prints, they do seem to roll up readily with no problem (I was being too timid before; tight rolling does not seem to bother the print at all). I'm going to keep one rolled up for a week or so and see how long it takes to flatten out afterwards. I think the prints will be fine.

If you paid for shipping I'll ship it, I understand not wanting to walk through customs with a tube and have those morons paw through your print.

Congrats to Gnat the Beggar...first one to pick up his EO art print! Gnat was so anxious he couldn't wait for a tube or a COA, and came over today to pick it up. Anyone else wanting to drive over early and get their copy is welcome to do so (saves me time!). Note that the Certificates of Authenticity will not be readly until NTRPG Con so if you get your print early you will have to pick it up there or have it sent to you...

I am SOOOO glad I have one of these. :!:

You have to see this print in person to fully appreciate it!
Internet pictures do no justice at all.

I am about to go upstairs (the gameroom) to figure out what Poster or Print will be sold or at least relegated to a tube to make room for EO...

There is nothing worth a lot (money wise) upstairs but the walls are crowded with fantasy and/or game related prints and posters already...
So something has to go.....

UPDATE!

Badmike now has the Certificate of Authenticity as well as the prints, and he'll start shipments about a week after NTRPGCON. It'll be shipped in a sturdy 3" tube. Good news!

Once you receive your print, you'll want to remove it from the tube and allow it to flatten. Better yet, take it somewhere to to be framed. The dimensions of the art are 16 inches by 24 inches and the dimensions of the paper are 22 inches by 28 inches. If you haven't given much thought to this, now would be a good time.

Doug had one displayed at the NTRPG Con and it looks a whole lot better in real life than on the screen. Again, a huge thank you to the EO committee and all their hard work!

Do not buy exactly 22" x 28" frames, as the print will NOT fit them.
Unless you cut them that is.

The exact paper dimensions are: 22-3/8" x 28-1/2" and I would leave some leeway past that too as the paper is NOT cut straight but as if it was an ancient type of paper cut with somewhat jagged edges.

The Copy of the Print that was being shown at the convention was sitting inside a much larger frame.
I did not measure that frame though.

Back on page 43 of this thread is a brief discussion concerning framing options including the quote below.
