Just acquired 6 modules from the land of Ebay with the slightly unfortunate experience of finding them missing bits.
Having not previously encountered the modules (never got any in my playing days 20 odd years ago) it didn't occur to me that there might be "pull out" sections that might potentially be pulled out.. counters etc. So I wondered whether it might be a good idea to include in acaeum descriptions a quick couple of sentences on what they contain so a seller/buyer knows what could potentially be missing from used copies.... As an additional idea on the same thread is there anything preventing inclusion of the text off the back covers? If that's a good call I'm quite happy to do a good bit of typing towards that end.
E.g. 1:
CM6: Where Chaos Reigns by Graeme Morris: For Character Levels 17-19
You have been chosen... etc.. etc.. back cover description.
Module includes 8 page "Pull Out" section including a map, monster rosters, new monsters and Oard devices.
E.g. 2:
M5: Talons of Night by Paul Jaquays: For Character Levels 20-25
As the cream of your crop... etc.. etc.. back cover description.
Centre pages include
DM Maps and Players Aid maps, back cover includes "Spiders Web Game" with cut out playing pieces which may be missing in used examples.
E.g. 3:
B8: Close Encounters of the Third K.. oh hang on.. no it isn't... erm... Journey to the Rock...
Just a few thoughts for what it's worth..
