Hunters of Dragons book (by Cirro Alessandro Sacco) interestingly mentions the foreign prints for each D&D item. More exactly it mentions how many foreign prints are confirmed. I've noted some differences with the foreign master list here http://www.acaeum.com/library/foreign.html for four modules. I wonder if Alessandro identified translations not referenced here -in such a case, please share them with us-) of if it is just small errors in the book. In the later case, does a second print correct them ?

B2 : The Keep on the Borderlands
Acaeum : 6 (France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Spain)
acaeum.com/ddindexes/modpages/foreign/b ... b2for.html
HoD : 7 foreign editions confirmed

B4 : The Lost city
Acaeum : 6 (France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Sweden)
acaeum.com/ddindexes/modpages/foreign/b ... b4for.html
HoD : 8 foreign editions confirmed

B6 : The Veiled Society
Acaeum : 5 (Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Japan)
acaeum.com/ddindexes/modpages/foreign/b ... b6for.html
HoD : 7 foreign editions confirmed

X6 : Quagmire!
Acaeum : 2 (Germany, Japan)
acaeum.com/ddindexes/modpages/foreign/x ... x6for.html
HoD : 5 foreign editions confirmed

The B6 module was never released in the Italian version... (as a stand alone module... there is the italian version of supermodule B1-9)

I used various references (properly credited at the beginning of the book) so I am quite sure about my data  8)

Then it would be much appreciated if you could share with us the foreign versions you have identified that are not listed on the Acaeum.
Personaly, I haven't found foreign versions not referenced on Acaeum.

If you do not have pictures, could you at least mention the countries to add to Acaeum list for the four modules listed ?

Thanks.

We also identified at least 7 prints of the French version of the red box (2 Holmes and 5 Mentzer). And several prints of most of modules.
If you are interested in French versions, you will find some information in " La Gazette du Donjon" (webzine from Le Donjon du Dragon)

But I guess that dwarf is looking for unlisted translations and not unlisted prints for a given language :)

Thanks Brette.  Is the difference just visible on booklets ?

Exactly Loki, thanks.

However identifying the various prints of the same product is also a very interesting point, particularly for foreign translations. Le "Donjon du Dragon" done a great job for French items. I wonder if such work has been done for other languages.

Coming back to Hunters of Dragons book, Alexander, I think your information needs to be confirmed, at least with the countries not listed on the foreign master list. You identified 8 translations not listed here concerning four D&D modules. It is not just one. I have not the slightest idea of the countries concerned.

No, maily the boxed set, minor differences.. the stats in the middle of the book are different from memory as well, for the example character.. I'll pull em out sometime and do some pics..

Brette:)
