It's only £11.10 over here, so I've pre-ordered a copy from Amazon on the basis that its cheaper than trying to pick up the original or reprints and is going to have the latest updated rules and is going to be played.
Cheers Bill

I'm definitely buying this since I've been wanting it forever but couldn't get past shelling out  $75 or more for a copy in nice condition.
Very happy they're printing it again.

I'm not a fan of the new "modern look" board. But even if you don't buy the new game, you can download a free pdf of the rules from the link Bill posted above. They look similar to the 1981 rules but with some changes to the classes. In the new version a Rogue (Halfling) replaces the Hero, and a Cleric (Dwarf) replaces the Elf, the Superhero is now a Fighter (Human) and the Wizard is a Wizard (Elf). There's also a new appendix on Solo play which includes a monster that hunts the player.

I do not think I will buy this new version. Doing a casual search on eBay last night provided a few $5.99 and under complete copies using BIN, which I did not advantage as I have the original. If they plan to add expansions... then it could be interesting and I would then consider those.

All the new things are odd sizes and don't look as good on the shelf  :joker:

Is this a reprint or another game with the same name?

Reprint with some minor differences from the previous editions. Same basic game play.
A PDF of the new rulebook is at the following link:

I hope they put the Superhero back in, although I am quite sure the modern audience would have a completely different expectation on what that meant...

Has anyone gone through to see if any minor modifications were done to the rules? As I understand it, the cleric lass replaces the hero or superhero from the original... had it been me, I would have given them a slight advantage (like a +1 - 2) against the undead, since I have asked others and they said the cleric gets no spells and no specials.
