Just curious... I find it super cool years later finding Maps, Dungeons, Journals etc... Homemade by some enthuiastic gamer... I seem to uncover cool stuff from time to time...

I still remember the hours I put into designing my Galley... of course I called it the ARGO in big bold letters at the top of the page.... My mistake was leaving it with my Chaotic Evil friends... who turned it into the ARBO and then later into ISCARBORBOILERISK... I still remember this nonsensical word... as when they were done they tried to figure out exactly how to pronounce it.

Has anybody discovered something really neat Hand Made?

Everything I played through the mid80's to early 90's was homemade by either myself or my brother. I never bought a mod, only upon coming here did I even start to look for them. I think for ease, as my eldest is nearing playing hopefully, we'll try a couple of mods I have, but having created a huge area, multiple dungeons, cities, plots, NPCs etc, I think I'll start using what I created after I stopped playing.

It's not seen the light of day and is full of ideas picked up from books, mods, life, magazines etc over the years

Heh... This has to be one of my favorite stories to tell...   8)

So a few years ago I bought a 15th Print Dungeons and Dragons Boxed Set, with the Jade Hare module inside it... (Did I mention it had a Jade Hare module inside it...?). I was bidding against the Troll and Toad guy at the local game auction, and I won it for five dollars. Clearly, either he didn't know what a Jade Hare was, or he was napping at the time...  :D

So I cracked open the box, set aside the module (complete with the mailing cover and thank you letter!!!) and poked around the rest of the box. Here were some of the PC's character sheets:

Tee Nee Peep - a 1st level dwarf
Hugh G .Rection - a 2nd level cleric
Sto Lin Cah - a 2nd level thief
Nuggin - a 2nd level dwarf
Axel - a 1st level fighter

:)

RPG’s, D&D in particular has had a major influence in my life. It’s bonded me together with life long friends...it’s that bond in life not just as friends, but in our jokes, our mannerisms, and what we find funny. Invincible Overlord

Any time I find this stuff, I shred it.
