According to some Usenet posts from mid-1999, some of the miniature reprint books seem to have been on sale as early as July 1999, but possibly only in Europe. I couldn't find any evidence that the miniature boxed set reprints were available that early though, so those might only have hit the shelves a bit later on.

Thank you dbartman and Echohawk for the lists and information. I was specifically looking for the products released for the anniversary as I had seen lots of items with the logo and was getting confused why there were so many but your last post Echohawk answers this point. So the real question is what is the definitive list of specific Anniversary made products?

Everything that was released in 1999 is technically a "Silver Anniversary" release.  It's pretty easy to spot the ones that are specifially re-releases or celebrations of the 25 years, and ones which are just regular releases.  Stuff like the "Return to...." series are nostalgic look-backs.....stuff like Skullport and Guide to Hell are obviously just regular releases.

You should be very careful with the Inquest magazine adventures IQ1, IQ2 and IQ3.  The little digest books that are separate from the magazine are simply a supplement with most of the adventure actually inside the magazine.  I have seen most of these being sold as simply the digest book which is basically an incomplete item without the magazine.

I don't know about IQ1 or 2, but I have IQ3 and with this one the entire module is in the digest book. It's 16 pages, including an ad on the back for Return to the Keep on the Borderlands ("You're older. You're wiser. So what happened back there in the CHAPEL OF EVIL CHAOS?"). If I recall, the magazine hardly makes any reference to the module; there's not an article about it. I actually sold the magazine (for about $1) and kept the module for this reason.

I'll have to dig my copies out but I'm sure IQ1 and IQ2 have most of the adventure inside the magazine - my IQ3 is probably in shrink.  There are also 1 or 2 other D&D supplements in other Inquest magazines too (not part of the IQ module run).

I remember selling an extra copy of one of the magazines only to someone who overpaid for a copy of the digest book by itself.
