The finalists have been chosen by the Steering Committee to be forwarded to the judges.

Each year we get various entries to be reviewed by the Steering Committee. Their job is to whittle the entries down to at least 3 and no more than 5 entries to be forwarded to the judges for final judging.

The award is designed to be given out to RPG products that are exceptional in many categories. So while many items may be sent in, they may lack the "exceptionalism" in some areas and thus not make the final cut.

This year the Steering Committee is only forwarding 3 entries to the judges. So it should be easier for the judges to choose a winner (or not)

The finalists are: (in alphabetical order)

The Blood Cult (boxed set) - Bill Barsh of Pacesetter Games

Valley of the Five Fires (module) - Richard LeBlanc of New Big Dragon Games

Whisper & Venom (boxed set) - Zach Glazer of Lesser Gnome Games
