That is a fantastic model. It is a shame he needed to use the Hill Giant figs from the D&D mini line. The Hill Giants from G1 are nothing like the giant cavemen from the MM write-up. Nosnra and company seem more like a group of pre-norman invasion Saxons instead and I haven't seen a good line of giant figures that depicts them anywhere close to the way they are illustrated in the modules.

Most of them look like cavemen instead of civilized creatures.   But that model is amazing and is designed for 28-32 MM scale minis.  8)

There are at least 2 that would do for G1 Hill Giants, but you can see the Frost Giants are all the G2 Blue-skinned viking types.

You seem to be saying there are only two of my twelve hill giant figures could pass as cavemen.  I would say it is a few more than that.  And yes, I can indeed see that my Frost Giants are all the blue-skinned viking types.

I'm saying that the G1 Hill Giants are depicted as sword and shield wielding Saxon-like creatures. I saw 2 like that in your posted collection. The D&D Giants shown with the model seem to be club-wielding, bear-skin wearing giant cavemen as shown in the MM as are most of the models you posted on DF.
