Quick question for any board admins....

How long should a PM show up in the Outbox folder? I've had a couple sitting in the Outbox folder for a couple of days now

Well ... I'm not a board admin, but I have an educated guess at the answer.
I believe the PM you sent stays in your outbox until the recipient reads it. Then it moves to your "Sent Items" folder.

Well ... I'm not a board admin, but I have an educated guess at the answer.
I believe the PM you sent stays in your outbox until the recipient reads it. Then it moves to your "Sent Items" folder.


To add to this, I'm not an admin either but I believe if they just read the email notice and not the PM here then it stays in your outbox just to torture you.

I've wondered about that.  I never receive a PM notice.  I have to log in and then go to my PMs.  Is there a way to get a notice via email or such that you have a PM?  I'm probably one of those that has had one sitting for a while because I usually am here in spurts.   :oops:

In your control panel under board preferences you can check a button to receive emails when you get PMs.

Also not a board admin - is Foulfoot the only one?

I think the default settings are to send you an email when PM arrives so you might also want to check your spam folder to see if they are being directed there.
