I have all my modules in mylar magazine-sized bags with backing boards. I also have a few 1st edition rulebooks and a basic boxed set that I would like to protect. Any thoughts on what one would need, or where one would aquire, a bag or box to fit a DMG/Deities and Demigods sized book? What do you guys do with the old boxed sets to keep them from getting beat up?

You are certainly on the right track with the mylar. Just make sure you are using the calcium buffered archival backing boards as well. For the boxed sets, hardcover books, etc. I just use oversized mylar bags without a backing board.

Get a bag of life magazine sized bags as well. Sometimes the book sized bags are just a touch too small.

I just learned Ultra Pro has discontinued their line of Role-Playing size bags. They were always my preference.

The local flgs is out (didn't save a bag for me, drat!), and the other couple of nearby stores are out, for good apparently.

If you see them on a shelf somewhere, consider stocking up!

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.
