I have the same problem, I had no intention of collecting 3/3.5 or 4th editions but I picked up 35 of the 4th edition hardbacks and 10-12 of the modules all new also for dirt cheap. I just sat there staring at it while the money burned a hole in my pocket and fell at the sellers feet. Now I find myself looking for the special release modules but I don't like the prices most of the time.

Art in 4e is not so bad though.

Last spring I ended up with a near complete set of 4e from a big bulk purchase and thought about keeping it.  Agreed, the art grows on you and some of the books like Manual of Planes have nice retro inspired covers.  I kept about half a dozen of the books like Revenge of the Giants and Mordenkainen, etc.  In the summer, I sold the rest off and did really well (sold way better than expected).  But now that 5e is out, I bought a couple more 4e collections but there has been very little interest locally on the resale front.

So if you are thinking about collecting 4e, now seems to be a good time.  I did buy a nice 3.5 lot (only the 10 book lot) from Calgary last week

I considered buying that lot but I already had them all!

I built my 4e collecting list from a combination of the D&D wiki page and WotC's release page.  

I never intended to collect 4e, but our group wanted to play it and since I'm *always* the DM, I started getting a few books.  Luckily for me, I work in the Remainder book market and was able to get many of these books super cheap through our channels.

4e is not my favorite d20 system but playing 4e was better than not playing anything at all.  Sometimes, you gotta roll with whatever the group wants.  Now we either playtest my TSRS Sci-Fi variant or mess with 5e.

But, I have nearly all of the 4e "easy to find" stuff.  The special Game Day, Free RPG Day, Delve store stuff is hard to find, at least reasonably.  So, my collection of 4e, besides a few I just haven't looked for, is mostly done.  I think I'm okay not buying all the one page, Store rewards material.  Just too ridiculous.  And I still have enough expensive 1e to get.

P.S. Ahh and the Gen Con promo only adventure. The name escapes me at the moment. THAT one should be ultra-rare as well...they only ran it for two time slots like 50 people each slot. I'll run downstairs and look for the name of it if you PM me about it.

Tunnel Rats isn't missing, it's just quite hidden away under the "Promotional Adventures" heading in the Living Forgotten Realms section of that Collector's Guide. I think Tunnel Rats came with a double sided poster map and a set of pre-generated character sheets (Duthan Ironblade, Jerisse, Kurel the Butcher, Murtun Ironblade, and Rhania the Bold). I have those character sheets included with my copy, at least. Actually, now that I check, my copy seems to have two duplicate sets of those character sheets.

There were several Gen Con promo only adventures for 4th Edition. The ones I know about are listed in the "Convention adventures" section. Please let me know if you notice any I'm missing! As a guess, are you maybe thinking of Curse of the Gray Hag?
