** expired/removed eBay auction **


I'm sure most of you have seen this auction and some may be bidding on it.  Approximately 5 1/2 hours to go and the bid is at $417.  The book looks to be in beautiful condition, except for one thing.  It's totally and completely "curved", the seller describes it as, "The one odd aspect of this book is that it is slightly curved, as if it had been stored leaning against something for many years and slowly developed this bend..."

Looking at the photo, I would consider this a serious curve.  For me, this defect would severely affect the value.  Anyone else feel the same?  Or is it just me?

Very true.  I've tried that with modules and box set covers, etc.  But never with a hardcover rule book.  Hopefully, if someone here wins the auction, we can find out if it ever flattens out again.

Not that that would necessarily have finished at $190 but the zero-rated, one-auction bidder certainly "helped" out there.
