I am trying to collect a full set of ruby parallel cards from the 1993 AD&D card set. Obviously this is a challenging and long term objective that at first I was intimidated to even attempt, as I'm sure many others are too. The first thought is "well that would nice but it's impractical and there's no point in trying" but I believe through teamwork and trading perhaps anyone who wants to can obtain a ruby set. I've already helped one person over at the nonsport forums complete his ruby set. He had been working on it since the cards came out, over 20 years, and he only needed 3 more cards which I had doubles of and gave to him.
For people who don't know what the ruby cards are here's a picture for reference

At the bottom, below the "premium backed" chase cards, you see four of what I'm talking about. These cards came only 1 per pack, which means the number of each ruby card printed is a mere twelfth of the total for each card. Given the numbers of standard cards printed in the other sets, I'd say the number of each ruby parallel printed is around 10,000 which by trading card standards would make each one of them rare.
I have many doubles of ruby paralells from series 3. I'm mostly looking for ruby parallels from series 1. If anyone is interested in selling or trading their ruby parallel post here and let us know, because with not many 93 boxes left out there trading is the only way someone is going to complete this set.
