Does anyone know if 2nd Edition books came in shrink? I picked this up on eBay and was VERY pleasantly surprised to find it shrink wrapped, but now I'm not sure if it's original or not.

That doesn't strike me as original shrink, particularly the coverage at the corners.

I didn't think so either, but it's so crisp and clean I want to be absolutely sure before I break it.

modules and sets I've bought in shrink from back in the late 80's and 90's.
I've never seen the books in shrink ever in any store.

Never saw these in the store is SW.  It looks like aftermarket SW.  Seen some businesses do that.  It's not a bad idea, if they want to keep their merchandise in pristine shape and free of damage from people thumbing through it.

That was consensus of people on FB as well, so I broke the SW. Book itself is in really good shape, not NM, but VG condition.
