Assuming the box sets are complete and in good condition, I'd say what you have ranges from $30-$60 each.
The encyclopedia magica 1-4 are probably worth around $100 for the full set.  Everything else would probably fall somewhere on the lower end.

Best bet for checking current value is to check EBay for similars sales and for the number of current auctions.

Welcome unclejeffie!  Lots of buyers like yourself have come to us to ask our opinions on value.  If you do a little searching of this site, you can see how we have advised similar buyers.   Skullhammer is right about checking what similar items have sold for on eBay.  Just log in to eBay, or create an account, enter the name of the item in the search box, click enter, and then click on the "sold" check box on the left-hand side of the page.  You'll be able to see what items with that title sold for over the past ninety days.  You'll notice nicer condition items sell for more and poor condition items sell for less.  The reputation of the seller often matters as does shipping costs and other factors.  If you cannot find any recently sold items, take a picture or two of that item and show it to us and we'll likely be able to give you a good idea of value.  Again, welcome!  :)

Just one addendum: you can search for eBay items (including completed auctions) right here on The Acaeum, via the "eBay" link up on top of your screen.  :)

This crowd is mostly about collecting and mostly about collecting older stuff.  Some people even think 2nd edition is an anathema as they prefer OD&D or 1st Edition.  That being said, I wouldn't keep anything I no longer use, or read, or want to read/review later.  Some people here see D&D stuff as an investment, but collectibles overall aren't that good of an investment, and they take up space, and they can be lost/stolen/damaged/etc....  Get what you want and collect what you want.  Personally, I think now's a good time to sell as our economy is arguably doing well, but I'm just one opinion.   8)
