Riddle me this Batman:

I can go to the USPS web site and calculate a priority mail medium box at $13.65.

Postage Price Calculator Mail Services

However if I go to my paypal site and print out a shipping label with the same style of shipping, and it's only asking me for $12.85 (same style of Priority Mail Medium Flat-Rate Box).

So I guess my question is if you pre-print a shipping label, you get a discount on your shipping???

Thanks!!!!

Perhaps PayPal gets a reduced rate for throwing business towards the USPS.  Of course, the USPS hasn't been the model for business practice...

You get a discount for online labels vs. taking to the post office

Works for international shipping as well.  Shipped a Castle Whiterock boxed set to Norway a couple of weeks ago. USPS quoted me the ridiculous price of $67.15, but paypal ended up charging me the ridiculous price of $63.79.  I had to ask the buyer if he was sure he wanted it, but he was unfazed.  And happy to get his big shipping refund of $3.36.
