Dragon Magazine 274 inclusions?

Can someone confirm what are the inclusions for this issue?

The cover mentions the Sherwood Campaign Poster, and a 3rd Edition CD-Rom. Is this the same disk that is included with the 3.0 PH?
Is it possible that Living Greyhawk Journal issue 0 was also included with #274? If not, can someone indicate when / where Living Greyhawk Journal issue 0 appeared?

If 274 is the August 2000 issue, then yes, that's when LGJ#0 shipped.

Yes, they both have the same date. Were all 6 (0 through 5) of the non-integrated Living Greyhawk journal's shipped as "inclusions" with Dragon Magazines? Or was this only for issue 0, the preview issue?

I have Dragon 274 in its original bag, and it definitely contains Living Greyhawk Journal #0. I believe that my Dragon magazine collection is complete, and I do not have any other issues with Living Greyhawk Journals.

That is great to hear. So now I just need to find the disc, which I know is in one of my boxes. I thought it was a spare from the PH, but it looks like the same disc was also included in this magazine.

I have a question / favor. I am trying to rebuild my Dragon (and Dungeon) magazine collection, but am having difficulty figuring if I'm missing any inserts. Do you know if your collection is complete? Would it be possible to list the center page (for those with staples) / inserts for each issue? I cannot seem to find a reference that contains this information for all issues of Dragon, so am having to guess in many cases if they are complete or not. When there is a 4 or 8 page add for Games Workshop in the center of the magazine, whose pages are not counted / numbered, and the staples look nice, I can reasonably assume that nothing is missing, but if the center pages are consecutively numbered, the staples are not strait, but the cover does not list any inserts, I really have no way of knowing. A collector such as you who has completed his collection would be a great reference if it was even feasible to document the information.

I know it would be asking alot, but let me know if you could help me in figuring out if my issues are complete.

One of the things I'm hoping to start doing this summer is to catalog the fine details of my various sub-collections (ie. condition of components, print information, etc...). When it comes to the magazines that you mentioned, this effort will also be to catalog their various inclusions. I'll let you know which issues came with which inserts once I've finished. In the meantime, I find it helpful to cast a wide net on each issue's offerings online to see if any are listed with inclusions mentioned. It's not 100% effective as you'll come away with some false negatives, but you won't run into too many false positives.

No, only LGJ#0 was distributed in Dragon (and perhaps at GenCon IIRC also that year?). The others were included in an RPGA membership IIRC, but #5 was produced after-the-fact of the end of the LG campaign I think, and wrapped up any subscription obligations or something like that.

That is more or less what I've been doing. I know when I'm missing something, but am not always 100% certain that my "completes" are in fact complete.

Until you get around to posting that list / catalog (which I'm very looking forward to), I likely poke the site here to confirm the completeness of some key issues from my collection (those that are VF / NM or better).
