Were any of the Tomb of Horrors Green covers, 4th - 6th print, different sizes? I have a 5th print cover, but the module is about a quarter inch smaller than half the cover. I did get them at separate times, but I didnt expect the module to be slightly smaller than the cover. Did I just make a mix matched module or maybe the module is a fake?

Its not a 7th print module btw, its a TSR face logo and all.

I tell myself these questions will continue to build the total knowledge here. :)

Ok, I have not seen this before, till I got one today, and now I see another posted on ebay. So did I just never notice this before and its no big deal?

Short of an "official" answer (from people who know a WHOLE LOT more than me) -

It may just be a mis-cut module. I am sure the covers and the interior pages are made on separate machines.

Covers and booklets would be cut separately, but supposedly to the same dimensions on the machines. A large press operation will likely have more than one cutter, so it would be possible for each to be set differently, though a quarter inch would be a huge error on the part of the operator. I would think there would be more miscut ones out there unless someone caught the error and pulped the miscut booklets, with ones like this slipping through quality control. Or, the error was noticed early, and adjustments were made before continuing the job.
