Does anyone store items not on shelves like regular books (or hidden away for safety) but face-on for display. Perhaps a cool box set, or a rare module or a fond old relic from your gaming table... ? Would you recommend a display case or in a drawer or framed like a painting?

If I had the money for something like that, I would:
a. Have it professionally mounted in a shadow box (if it's too thick for a standard frame) or
b. Have it professionally matted and framed with UV protective glass in front.

Use a vertical stack of boxed games facing outward, tilted back a bit to avoid falling forward. The box you want to display is the frontmost box.
