Digging through some more old stuff, I found this guy.  I wasn't a huge FR fan but I figured if I ever made it to that realm, I would use it.  Sadly I never made it there :cry: .  The box is still unopened and in great condition.  I also have the Dragon Magazine Archive in shrink wrap but its ripped a little bit.  I am curious how helpful the Atlas was\is.  Anyone have any experience using it?

I've never used it, but then I've never run a full campaign in the FR either ;)

Hi Allan,  I remember using campaign cartographer and thinking it was just too cumbersome and it taking forever to put something small together and I think they nailed you with having to pay for add on stuff like castles or dungeons.  It was one of those things where you had to dump a lot of time into it to become proficient ( at least for me  :x ).  As to FR, I had good intentions for it, read tons on it, but got sucked into Greyhawk and stayed.

I hear you there.  I used some FR materials here and there in Greyhawk as well, but mostly stuck with GH in the end too.

I was such a junky with GH, I hung out on bulletin boards (yeah before the internet) and read stuff like this.

I have the first 11 journals spiral bound. What a nerd...

Sorry,  maybe a "newbie" question: i had a look at the link and what i found great is the website www.archive.org ... What is it exactly?  It seems to be a great internet files bucket...

It's part of the Internet Archive which crawls through cyberspace saving everything.  Pretty scary stuff if you're afraid of Big Brother.   8O

The OJs have hopped around in terms of hosting for awhile now, but you can access them via my Greyhawk Links page @ grodog's Favorite Greyhawk Links (and it does point to several pages that are accessed via the Internet Archive, given their utility).  Specifically, you can download the Oerth Journal issues #1-25 @ The Oerth Journal & Canonfire!Chronicles: The Oerth Journal Downloads

We are working to try to re-centralize some of these various hosts to Greyhawk Online, so that we'll have a one-stop shop for Greyhawk info and resources.
