Hi, I'm writing a
Reference Guide to all of the AD&D Action Figure products and stories. Former TSR designer Mike Gray is serving as a consultant - the Reference Guide will include two recent interviews I did with him. Gray is the author of
XL-1: Quest for the Heartstone (1984), the only
RPG adventure to feature the Action Figure characters.
I've gathered nearly all of the source texts, including most of rare ones such as
The Lost Wand coloring book, for which I paid a pretty penny. But here's what I'm still missing:
AD&D Magical Coloring Book (Super-Size) - from extensive searching, I've only come across only one copy of this in existence, and it was in Gary Gygax's estate sale. If anyone has a copy of this, I would be grateful for a plot summary or imagery (email: traversetravis at: protonmail dot com)
I found audio recordings of all the vinyl records, but I'm also trying to find the imagery from their Read-Along Books, since the illustrations often include setting details (such as pictures of the layout of castle or building) which are not conveyed through the audio.
Black Dragon Bog
Quest of the Riddles
Quest for the Cursed Bone(I have
Attack of the Assassins)
Every detail matters, because, with Mike's help, I'm aiming to piece together a complete timeline and map for this forgotten "World of ADVANCED DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Action Figures." Thanks for any help.
