There is a documentary movie "Secrets of Blackmoor" in the works about origins of RPGs and Dave Arneson's and his gaming group's impact on creation of D&D. The team behind the film has just started a Kickstarter to fund last post-production bits: Kickstarter.

I've seen a 30-minutes "sneak peak" piece sent out some time ago to early supporters and also shown at Gary Con 2018. The folks doing the movie talked to Arneson's family, David Wesely and other people from Twin Cities, Rob Kuntz and many others and dug up a lot of interesting papers. I just hope that this particular movie will be finished unlike the other two. ;)
