As most here, I played a ton of D&D and a kid.  I started collecting a year or so back and focused on my favorite module, B2.  I kept finding listings on eBay at $30+ (there are several out there now close to $100) and wanted to know what they were actually selling for.  Being a geek, I decided to make calls to the eBay api and pull the results down.  Once I had them loaded to a database I reviewed each one and assigned a grade.  NOTE - I am NOT an expert on grading, but I did my best to stay consistent.

I found the results interesting and figured I would share.  I'm not sure where I'll go next...thinking I'll complete the B* series or maybe look at rule books.

The valuation results from what is tracked on The Acaeum are here for eBay auctions:

https://www.acaeum.com/ddindexes/modcode.html

Some might argue that the Acaeum valuations are too low, but these valuations don't include BIN auctions and they include multiple years of historical data that evens out spot spikes in prices.  For common items, such as B2, the individual items aren't graded by a valuation board member, but "averaged".

In the case of B2, the valuations are pretty close.

As of the time of this search, there were about 77 sold listings:
