Any cringe worthy regrets for not buying something you could have?

I regret not buying some stuff a couple of years ago. It seems like this sentiment is going to recycle.

Kinda sorta...... of selling things... (2) 1st print Woodies and a 2nd print, my 2 sets of SW R-series, multiple copies of tourney modules and a complete (carded blisters/sealed box sets) run of the Heritage Dungeon Dwellers series..... all to pay for a Divorce (many may recall those posts of selling it off waaayyyy back in the early/mid 2000's)

BUT....it was all worth it, the 25k + secured that I would be primary caregiver for my 3 children, allow my oldest son to live with me full time and my youngest son and daughter to live with me 70%+. Divorce lawyers suck (not as human beings, I liked mine personally) but are a necessity in Massachusetts if you want to fight for your kids!

I'll never own any of those as I originally did...I have many of the Heritage back (varying conditions), more than 1 copy of 2nd/3rd print Woodies again, and R/RPGA series non-shrink (still short on a couple tourney modules but I'm ok with it)...but in the condition like the ones I sold....nope. And honestly, I suppose I don't need them and will always know I once had them

Of not buying...yeah, the countless gems that used to pop up on RecGFRPMkt...like a $50 ST1.... those were the days of usenet........

Several years ago at Gen Con, I saw a fellow selling a copy of a module I didn't recognize, titled "ST1 Up the Garden Path." It was in rather good condition, and I inquired about it, but I balked when I saw the price tag was $1,000 USD. I could have picked it up, but I suspected that it was a scam and walked away. I only later got online and did some research and realized that I'd just missed out on a great deal.

I suppose it might have been a fake, but now all I remember is wishing I'd known exactly what that title was so that I could have given it more attention and possibly purchased it.
