Hi all!

I ran across a typo todya and I remembered having noticed it before and chuckling, which got me to thinking it would be fun to have people post funny typos they have come across in RPG prodcuts.
My entry: Page 30 of Undermountain : Stardock, third paragraph under Aria 3 (Priamon's Lair), first line:

The chest of holding acts just like a bug of holding,

Uncharacteristically, I will not make any crude jokes abuot the typo. It's funny as is.
Anyone else? The one hwo posts the best typo gets the title of "RPG Typo King" for the rest of 2019. Perhaps Foul can create a tag to go with the username.......

I don't know about later prints, or different ones, but Encyclopedia Magica, Volume 1 for 2nd edition AD&D had a sloppy replace error where someone searched and removed "mage" for "wizard" resulting in numerous instances of effects doing "dawizard" or producing "iwizard" instead of damage/image.

It is only a portion of the book, as I recall. Maybe 20 pages or so.

Great.... Now I'm going to have to search through my copy tonight...

There was a long-standing joke about "RPGA Editing" back in the day when people would write modules for them...

Sconces vs scones

Brazier vs brasiere

RPG’s, D&D in particular has had a major influence in my life. It’s bonded me together with life long friends...it’s that bond in life not just as friends, but in our jokes, our mannerisms, and what we find funny. Invincible Overlord

One of the earliest from TSR involved the "minionions of Set". Don't recall where tho.

My friends Dave & Gary made a quantum leap in entertainment. Remember them.

Delicious, but would give you a real devil of a case of indigestion.  I asked the dungeon snack vendor if they'd cause heartburn, but I must have failed my "% Liar" roll when he said they wouldn't.

OK, here's one: N5 Under Illefarn. On page 33, the paragraph on the right-side column starting with "The best strategy" says that any PC with a strength of 18 can move stones by hand if they make an ability check on 4d4.
So, unless the DM uses my ex-wife's sliding scale of +/- (1-8) which depends on what favors her the most, I'm guessing the player would be hard pressed to fail......
